Collection: Korean Organic Tea: Certified Organic Selection

Organic Farming at the Heart of Korea's Tea Gardens

Our organic selection brings together Korean teas, matchas and infusions grown following certified organic farming methods, without pesticides or chemical inputs. From the volcanic gardens of Jeju to the hillsides of Boseong and Hadong, each item is chosen for the rigor of its certification as much as for the quality of its leaf.

The selection includes certified organic Sejak and Ujeon green tea and ceremonial matcha, the full range of ORGA infusions (chamomile, hibiscus, rooibos, goji, pumpkin...), as well as selections from Osulloc, Seonunjeda, Dabien and Mom Sarang. Every product ships directly from Seoul via K-Packet.

A commitment to purity, from soil to cup.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sets organic Korean tea apart from conventional tea?
Organic tea is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, under a certified standard overseen by an official body. In Korea, these certifications are recognized under the KOREU free trade agreement and meet European Union organic standards, guaranteeing a leaf grown with respect for the soil and free of chemical residue.
What does the Korean organic label on our packaging mean?
The green 유기가공식품 (Organic) logo is the official organic certification label issued under the authority of Korea's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA), through accredited certification bodies. It confirms that a product meets Korean organic farming standards: no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, no GMOs, and traceability from field to packaging. Thanks to the KOREU free trade agreement, this certification is recognized as equivalent to European Union organic standards.
Does organic tea taste different from conventional tea?
Organic certification doesn't fundamentally change a tea's aromatic profile, which depends mainly on terroir, harvest grade and processing method. It does guarantee, however, an environmentally responsible growing method and the absence of pesticide residue in the leaf.
Are all your organic products sourced directly in South Korea?
Yes. Every item in this selection is sourced directly from Korean producers and tea houses (Seonunjeda, ORGA, Osulloc, Dabien, Mom Sarang, Orteas), with no European intermediary, and shipped from Seoul via K-Packet.
