Maison Boseong: A Bridge Between Two Cultures

Nico Lesage: Your Personal Curator at the Heart of Korean Terroir

"Tea is an invitation to travel, a necessary pause in the tumult of the world."

Living in South Korea for 15 years, I have discovered the soul of this country through its landscapes and ancestral traditions. What began as mere curiosity has transformed into a true quest for meaning.

Over the years, I have wandered through the misty hills of Boseong, meeting passionate producers who uphold a unique heritage. I realized that Korean tea, with its finesse and purity, deserved to be celebrated far beyond its borders.

This is how Maison Boseong was born.

My Mission: Excellence from Source to Cup

My role is to serve as your personal curator. I do more than just select products; I forge deep connections with the land to bring you the very best of Korea, wherever you are in the world.

Rigorous Selection: Every vintage and every blend is tasted and verified for exceptional quality and authenticity.

Direct Sourcing: By working directly with producers, I guarantee absolute freshness while providing direct support to local tea gardens.

A Moment of Stillness: My ambition is simple: to help you discover the excellence of the Korean terroir and offer you, every morning, a moment of absolute calm in your daily life.

Why Maison Boseong?

Choosing Maison Boseong means choosing human expertise and a passion rooted in real-world experience. Whether it is the power of a Jirisan Ujeon, the indulgence of a Seoul Honey Tea, or the purity of ORGA’s organic infusions, I make it a point of honor to only offer what I serve at my own table.

Welcome to my world. Let’s take the time for an infusion.

Maison Boseong: your specialist in Korean tea in France

From Seoul, we select the best Korean teas each season from the three great terroirs of the peninsula: the terraced gardens of Boseong, the wild slopes of Mount Jirisan in Hadong, and the volcanic plantations of Jeju Island.

Korean tea, or nokcha (녹차), remains one of the best-kept secrets in the tea world. Less known than Japanese matcha or Chinese tea, it stands out for its vegetal sweetness, umami notes, and artisanal character. Each leaf is hand-picked, following the Korean solar calendar: ujeon, harvested before the grain rain in late April, represents the pinnacle of refinement; sejak, picked in early May, offers exceptional aromatic complexity.

Our online store offers Boseong green teas, ceremonial matchas, traditional herbal teas like boricha and ssanghwa-cha, as well as prestige gift sets. Everything is shipped directly from South Korea to France and Europe, within 5 to 8 business days via Kpacket or La Poste.

Whether you are a K-culture enthusiast, a tea lover, or looking for a refined gift, Maison Boseong guides you through the world of exceptional Korean tea.
