Sejak Ilsangdawan Ssanggyemyeongcha: the Korean Spring Second Flush, Pure and Pesticide-Free
Sejak (細雀, "fine bird's leaf") is the second harvest grade of Korean green tea, picked between 20 April and early May, just after the precious Ujeon. Slightly bolder than Ujeon but still remarkably fine, it is often the everyday tea of Korean connoisseurs.
This Ilsangdawan version by Ssanggyemyeongcha is certified 무농약 (pesticide-free), 100% of Korean origin. Steamed, then gently roasted to preserve colour and aromas, it offers a fresh green, lightly sweet profile with the soft marine notes characteristic of Korean green tea. A cup that captures the essence of the Korean spring in all its delicacy.
