The Soul of the Volcanic Oolong: A Creamy Cloud
The OSULLOC Milky Oolong is an olfactory miracle. Often sought after by connoisseurs for its "impossible" flavor profile, this tea delivers a rich, buttery, and milky sensation without a single drop of dairy. Sourced from Jeju Island, the tea leaves undergo a precise partial fermentation process that coaxes out these rare lactonic notes. The result is a sophisticated brew that bridges the gap between the freshness of green tea and the depth of black tea, finished with a whisper of sun-ripened peach.
The Architecture of the Blend
Naturally Creamy: The "Milky" character is a result of the unique Jeju terroir and specific oxidation levels, producing a natural aroma of sweet cream and fresh butter.
Velvety Mouthfeel: This Oolong is prized for its onctueux (creamy) texture. Each sip coats the palate in a smooth, comforting silkiness that lingers long after the cup is empty.
Fruit & Flower: Beyond the cream, you will discover delicate top notes of ripe peach and a subtle floral heart, providing a bright contrast to the rich base.
Premium Pyramid Sachets: The box contains 10 luxury mesh sachets, engineered to allow the tightly rolled Oolong leaves to "unfurl" completely, a necessary step for the tea to release its full aromatic complexity.
A Ritual of Contemplation
The Connoisseur's Break: This is a "slow tea." Its complex layers of flavor make it the perfect companion for a moment of quiet reflection or a refined afternoon pause.
Zero Additives: Unlike many "flavored" teas, the Milky Oolong's magic comes from the leaf itself and the expertise of Osulloc’s master blenders—pure, organic, and sophisticated.
The "Gourmet" Alternative: A perfect choice for those who love the comfort of a latte but prefer the clean, antioxidant-rich profile of a premium tea.
The Perfect Steep
To unlock the buttery "Milky" notes without burning the delicate Oolong leaves:
1.Water Temperature: 80°C to 85°C. Using water that is too hot can mask the creamy sweetness with unwanted astringency.
2.Steeping Time: 2 to 3 minutes.
3.The "Infinite Steep" Tip: High-quality Oolong leaves are incredibly generous. Don't throw the sachet away after one use—you can steep it a second time. The second infusion often reveals more of the fruity peach notes, while the first is more intensely creamy.
