Gold Jubilee Plum Blossom and Jakseol: Korean green tea and plum flower
In the prestige Gold Jubilee line, this blend pairs jakseol (雀舌, "sparrow's tongue"), a Korean green tea grade picked in spring, with plum blossom (maehwa), the emblem of the first days of spring in Korea. The cup is fresh and lightly floral, with the vegetal softness typical of Korean green tea.
Ssanggyemyeongcha (쌍계명차), founded in 1979 in Hadong at the foot of Mount Jiri, is one of the reference names in Korean tea. The pyramid tea bags let leaves and flowers open freely.
