Misugaru is a traditional Korean powder made from several roasted then finely ground grains and legumes, such as brown rice, barley, black soybean and black sesame. You dilute it in water or milk for a drink with roasted notes.

How do you prepare iced misugaru?

Pour a stick of misugaru into 150 to 200 ml of cold water or milk, stir vigorously until fully dissolved, then add ice cubes and serve immediately.

Does misugaru contain gluten?

Traditional recipes generally include barley, which contains gluten. You should check the exact composition listed on each brand's packaging.
